Dreamhack 2012

After battling their way through a grueling qualifier, Counter Logic Gaming Europe advanced with perfect sets to take home the first place prize here at Dreamhack in Sweden.

Much like the story of group A, group B saw experienced teams Counter Logic Gaming and Moscow Five overcoming new teams Absolute Legends and Mebdi’s Minions.

With a perfect 3-0 run in the group stage, there can be little doubt that for group A, Curse.eu has the best players. Determining the best on the team is a bit trickier.

The first group of Dreamhack 2012 saw the rise of veteran competitors Curse.eu and FnaticRaidCall over new teams PAH and Millenium.

Out of the 62 teams that entered the BYOC tournament, only four would move on to the main event: the Dreamhack 2012 European Challenger Circuit.

With Dreamhack 2012 here and bigger than ever, we wanted to give fans that can’t make it to the event all the information they need to follow the action this weekend.

The BYOC tournament at Dreamhack 2012 offers teams a unique opportunity: journey to Sweden and compete in a live setting for the chance to make it to the main event.
